WHAT IS A ROLAND PLANET?

Think of it as a Roland centre within a large music shop, with loads of Roland and Boss gear, and someone from Roland to show you what to do with it and get you started on your musical career. Practical, authoritative advice and award-winning customer service come as standard.

FREE MUSIC TECHNOLOGY TRAINING

Music WorkshopThis autumn, reserve your seat for the first-ever FREE Music Technology Workshops!

Running exclusively in selected hi-tech retailers and sponsored by Roland, these bite-sized workshops last around 30 minutes and will cover different subjects each month, based on demand and feedback from customers. Subjects covered include recording a CD and recording with a guitar with more topics to come on future dates.

Hosted by the in-store product specialist, the workshops are designed to clarify many of the terms and assumptions surrounding modern music production as well as give a few killer tips for customers to take away and improve their music making immediately.

Corin Birchall, retail operations manager for Roland Planets, comments “In some ways, it can be quite hard to progress in the music industry because a lot of gear is complicated to use. People get confused as to what to buy and how to use it once their gear is at home. We’ve decided to run these in-store workshops to show people that it’s not difficult, just unfamiliar. They’ll take around 30 minutes and we’ll have you clued up and ready to produce your own CD in no time.”

Questions are encouraged and the product specialists, who are all seasoned producers, players or performers, will be more than happy to help solve any gear related queries you many have.
