With the same pro-quality sound as the TD-20, the new TD-12 drum module provides hundreds of expressive instruments and play-along sequences in a streamlined, affordable package. Many of the sounds in the TD-12, from drums to cymbals, are COSM modelled for the ultimate in expression and realism. The module provides the same large, icon-based LCD as its big brother, and is housed in a road-tough, gun-metal gray chassis with a friendly array of buttons, controls, and mix sliders. A dozen trigger inputs are provided, plus four audio outputs and MIDI I/O.

TD-12 System Update Version 1.10

This is the latest operating system update for the TD-12. Please refer to the readme.pdf for the update procedure.

Caution When Performing the Update (IMPORTANT!)

• This system program is only for the TD-12.
• Before you perform the update, we recommend that you save your data to other MIDI devices (Bulk Dump Function). For more information for bulk dump, please refer to the TD-12 Owner's Manual.
• Never power off your TD-12 while the update is in progress! During the update process, the old TD-12 system program will be erased and replaced with the new program. If a power failure or similar accident occurs during the update process, the TD-12 won't be able to start up in normal operating mode. This will require servicing, so you will need to contact a Roland service center if this occurs.
• We regret that we are unable to answer questions regarding the update procedure using this system program. Please perform the update responsibly, following the directions given in this document.
