World's largest guitar lesson hosted by Steve Vai

Individuals looking for help to hone their technique might want to think about participating in the world's largest guitar lesson.

Steve Vai - former member of numerous outfits including Whitesnake, Bold as Love and Hot Chocolate - will be available online on March 3rd to impart his knowledge to people starting guitar tutorials and others who just want to pick up some tips.

The free 30-minute lesson is organised by Berkleemusic, a division of Boston's Berklee College of Music, with a view to bringing musicians together from across the globe.

Dave Kusek, chief executive officer of the organisation, said: "[We're] excited to play a part in exposing a record-setting number of guitarists from around the world to his 'otherworldly' techniques."

Vai claimed he would like to see guitar players embrace their own "style and spirit" as a result of the lesson, while participants can submit questions before the live streaming event begins.  ADNFCR-2724-ID-800385850-ADNFCR
