Unsigned acts to get national TV showcase

Sky 1 is launching a new TV show to allow undiscovered musicians to showcase their skills.
Bands, solo artists and instrumentalists will all be eligible to take part in Must Be the Music, which will air in summer 2010.
Duncan Grey, head of entertainment at Sky 1, commented: "At last here's a chance for the huge variety of unrepresented new talent to showcase real music and grow as an artist both creatively and financially."
A series of regional auditions will be staged across Britain, which will be followed by two live semi-finals and a grand final in a major UK arena.
The winner of the programme will then receive a £100,000 prize to kickstart their music career, artistic control over their future work and advice from music industry professionals.
Any bands, solo acts and musicians who are keen to take part can sign up for the programme here at the Sky 1 website.
