TV show aims to inspire lapsed musicians

People who used to play a musical instrument may be tempted to rediscover this hobby after viewing a new TV show.
Later this year, Sky Arts will begin screening First Love, a series in which celebrities who have let their musical skills lapse take up their instrument once again.
Newsreader Katie Derham, for instance, will be seen getting back into the violin, while Janet Street-Porter will try to remember her knowledge of the recorder.
Meanwhile, Radio DJ Mark Radcliffe will be brushing up on his drumming skills.
This week, he showed off his prowess behind the drums on stage with Rufus Wainwright at a gig in Manchester.
Speaking to the Bolton News, Radcliffe said: "I had a new drum kit - the same as Charlie Watts from the Rolling Stones plays.
"We got a great sound."
Mark Radcliffe already plays guitar in his own band The Big Figures, an R&B group in the vein of Dr Feelgood.
