Supergroup premiers debut single on MySpace
People who are getting started in music regularly showcase their songs on MySpace, but a supergroup of established names is using the same method to promote their new material.
Them Crooked Vultures, a band fronted by Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age, has just published a snippet of their debut single on the social networking site.
Only 30 seconds of New Fang have been made available, proving an effective teaser for the album, which is released on November 17th.
The clip is not yet available to listen to at any other media outlet or website.
Them Crooked Vultures features Homme on electric guitar, along with Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl on drums.
Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones completes the line-up on bass guitar.
This comes after ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney, whose last album came out under the name of The Fireman, previewed his entire Electric Arguments album on MySpace prior to its release.
