Roland electronic drum kits 'among best in the world'

Drum kits are heavily influenced by personal preference. While some will still be bashing on the first set they were bought one Christmas, others will look to capitalise on the latest technological advancements.
For drum professionals looking to get their hands on an electronic kit, there are number of different options, but Music Radar has picked out what it considers to be the finest.
The Roland TD-12K receives four stars out of five, as it "acquits itself well against the best in the world", while the TD-9K also gets an honourable mention.
However, professional drummers take note, as the TD-20KX is at the top end of kits available.
"The KX brain is host to nearly 1,000 sounds, 100 preset kits and world-class level of editing," the news provider observed.
While it costs over £5,000, it adds it is well worth the price because of the range of features it has.
