New BOSS BR-800 draws praise

Musicians who are looking to buy a new home recording studio might find the new BOSS BR-800 perfect for their needs.

The device was unveiled at this year's Musikmesse event and has already drawn praise for its range of features.

MusicRadar singled out the ability to record up to four tracks at once as one of its most noteworthy functions.

The website also noted that it is very slimline in comparison to other home recording studios, partly because it makes use of touch-sensor switches instead of buttons.

"BOSS knows the score when it comes to portable multitrack recorders," MusicRadar commented.

Mi-Pro was also complimentary about the BR-800, as it follows in the BOSS tradition of portable and affordable multi-track recorders.

The website praised several of its features, including the "convenient" Retry function and its rhythm generator, which allows musicians to add drum and percussion parts to their songs.
