Guitar music 'will come back'

Sales of guitar music may have dropped noticeably during 2009, but one rock band does not believe this means people's love affair with the instrument is over.
According to The Enemy, last year was a very tough period for guitar-based rock groups.
Indeed, the Arctic Monkeys' latest release came out with little fanfare, while big names such as the Kaiser Chiefs are currently taking time out.
Tom Clarke, lead singer in The Enemy, told BBC 6 Music: "You look at the charts and there just isn't the plethora of guitar bands that should be there."
However, he said music is cyclical, which means the current slump is leading to the "rubbish" bands being weeded out.
The Enemy, who are best known for hits such as Away from Here, You're Not Alone and Had Enough, are joining the Kaiser Chiefs in taking a break from the music industry.
Clarke added that the band will only release another record when the time is right.
