Guitar group OK Go capture music world's attention again with new video

US guitar band OK Go have once again captured the imagination of the music world with an interesting video.
The Los Angeles-based group won a Grammy in 2007 for an innovative clip featuring treadmills to promote their track Here It Goes Again.
Three years on, the musicians have again caused a stir with their video for new single White Knuckles, which shows off their dog training skills.
After being posted on YouTube earlier this week, the clip has already had almost three million hits.
Frontman Damian Kulash told NME that the final version of the video took numerous run-throughs but insisted no video tricky was used to create the continuous take.
"There were many more starts and stops but we actually have slates for 124 full takes. The video you see is one whole take and what you see is all take 72," he remarked.
The video could serve as a useful reminder to musicians that great ideas, rather than big budgets, are the key to creating a clip which successfully promotes a song to an online audience.
