Christmas 'perfect time' to start learning piano

If you are considering getting an instrument as a Christmas present this year, then the piano could be the perfect option.

This is because Ed Weiss, a noted author and musician, has devised a series of lessons that are intended to get those starting out on the piano learning the basics very quickly.

"With my method, students are mastering chords in just the first few days alone and are actually creating unique musical scores in less than a month," he added.

David Lanz, who is a Grammy-nominated pianist and composer and was part of the New Age music movement over 20 years ago, has endorsed Weiss's web-based methods.

Weiss observed playing the instrument is about "having fun" and he has encouraged individuals to make the most of the dark evenings of winter by practising.

He has been teaching aspiring musicians for over ten years and he describes his course as "user friendly".
