ROLAND ANNOUNCES PM-30 PERSONAL MONITOR
— Advanced Amplification for V-Drums!—
UK, July 14, 2006—Roland is proud to announce the new PM-30 Personal Monitor. This new monitor offers a new top-of-the-line 2.1 channel advanced speaker system optimised for V-Drums. With 200 watts (100W + 50W x 2) of Class-D power, a high-performance 12″ woofer with tweeter, a pair of 4″ satellite speakers, and a proprietary DSP engine, the PM-30 delivers powerful, clear, full-range sound.
Removable casters, two side handles and a solid crossbar which spans the top of the PM-30 unit provide ultra-convenient transportation. The two satellite speakers can be clamped onto the crossbar or mounted onto a drum rack for an all-in-one monitoring experience.
Roland V-Drum owners will appreciate the PM-30s special V-Drum input, aaccepts a single stereo TRS feed from the V-Drums headphone output.
The PM-30 also offers a flexible input path. Three input channels (both 1/4″ an RCA input types are offered) and two sets of outputs (1/4″ (Stereo) outputs are provided. Roland also added an additional set of outputs for the satellite speakers.
