Ralf Schink...

Ralf Schink was born in Germany and began playing the electronic organ at the age of 9. Since then, his energetic, contemporary style has won him many accolades throughout Europe and around the world.

Following the completion of his formal education in Germany, Ralf went on to study at the renowned Swiss Jazz School in Bern, Switzerland and, in 1989, at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Throughout this time, he has played with numerous fusion, jazz, funk and soul groups.

A tremendously versatile and gifted musician, Ralf is comfortable with all types of music. From jazz to big band, Ralf's repertoire appeals to all age groups. In 1990, he toured Europe as the keyboard player for the popular offBroadway show, "The Golden Musicals of Broadway". In 1994, he released his first CD performing as a keyboard soloist with his own fusion jazz band, "Loud Jazz". This recording has met with widespread critical acclaim. Since 1992, Ralf Schink has been doing concerts, demonstrations and promotional appearances for Roland Germany.

He does an excellent job with the Roland Atelier Organ in Germany and throughout Europe. In 1996, his travels brought him to Israel and a new audience enjoyed his unique arrangements and style. In 1995, Ralf visited Japan and performed at the first international "Roland/Rodgers Organ Festival". He was so well received by Japanese audiences that he was invited to return in 1996, 1997 and 1999. His latest recordings are "Atelier - In Concert" and "Live in Japan" with the ROLAND Organ AT-90R. Other CD productions comprise the live CD "Now We Start" with his new band "IUcama" (this band creates a new style called "Jazzid BPM", Drum 'n Bass meets Jazz).

Ralf also took part in the recording "Tribute to Klaus Wunderlich" with several famous organ players such as Georges Fleury, Curt Prina, etc. In 1999 he participated in the Roland/Rodgers Organ Tour throughout Germany with the celebrated Hector Olivera and Lutz Krajenski. His production, the CD "Lyric in Concert" with an actor, bass player and Ralf playing the piano. The "Lyric in Concert" tour in Germany was met with great enthusiasm.

The band still performs regularly throughout Germany. For many years already his international involvement with Roland comprises of demo tours in Europe, Asia and Canada as well as trips to the Roland factories in Japan and Italy in the function of demonstrator and product consultant. In addition he annually performs at the Frankfurt Musik Messe, the biggest musical fair in Europe.

For the last couple of years he has his own production studio "soneo art production" in Berlin. There he is composing, recording and producing music in various styles for major corporate events, advertisement and movies.
