Birmingham’s Roland Planet is one of our longest-established stores, having opened in 2001. The store is based at Professional Music Technology’s flagship Birmingham superstore which serves the wider west midlands region. The store boasts one of the longest guitar walls in the world, as well as the brand new Roland Foresta area, which is a quiet haven for choosing a Roland digital piano.
Based on the edge of such a diverse city as Birmingham, the store serves a community of players from all musical genres and at all levels of ability. The Home of Metal is also home to some of the world’s finest Gospel players and a fantastic community of passionate, talented musicians of all ages.
The Birmingham Roland Planet is manned by one of our Product Specialists, Brian Hillstead, who has worked in musical instrument retail for over 10 years. Brian is a keyboard player who has gigged continuously from his early twenties and can now be found playing in a function band all over the UK.
