Damon Albarn performs with the Roland C-230 keyboard

See Roland’s classic keyboard on the Andrew Marr Show

Anyone watching the Andrew Marr show yesterday got a treat as Blur and Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn performed a track from his new opera Dr Dee. Obviously this is exciting in itself, but in the Roland camp, we were particularly pleased to see the Roland C-230 Classic Keyboard being put to good use.

The C-230 is a gorgeous wood-panelled keyboard bringing together a world of classical sounds, making it the perfect choice for Albarn’s classically-inspired opera.

With 36 classical organ sounds to choose from, the C-230 offers a broad choice of authentic voices. As well as Roland’s coveted organ and bass tones, the choice also includes favourites like harpsichords, fortepiano and celesta.

The C-230 also has its own internal speakers so you don’t need to plug it into a separate amp and sound before you play.

Great for players of all levels, the C-230 comes with a built-in recorder so you can record and play back your performances – ideal for learners to spot mistakes or for professionals to share their achievements.

Alongside excellent sounds and ingenious features, the Roland C-230 is also beautifully designed to add classic, understated charm to any home or music venue.
