Incredibly tactile in nature, the instrument lies close to the heart of the player, and touches the hearts of those who cherish its evocative call. We’re inviting accordion players from every corner of the country to enter the fifth Roland V-Accordion Championship. Pick up the instrument you love and start playing - you could represent the UK in the international final in Italy as well as winning 5,000 euros and a Roland V-Accordion.

This year’s V-Accordion takes place as part of the NAO Blackpool Festival Friday 13th May. The national final will feature junior and senior categories, each with a V-Accordion as a prize. The senior winner will also qualify for The 5th V-Accordion International Festival will take place in Auditorium Parco della Musica Rome – Italy on 21st-22nd October 2011 with a first prize of 5,000 euros.
